Last August 26, 2013, the Philippine National Heroes Day, a new note to the History was made. The Million People March was the biggest protest happened during the administration of President Noynoy Aquino, and the first protest that was organized through Social Media.
The Million People March happened at Luneta Park in Manila wherein up to hundred thousands of Filipinos unite and protest to remove the Pork Barrel System. This is another historic event in the Philippines because from all walks of like they became as one, whether they are poor, rich, a catholic, a Muslim, a girl, a boy, a lesbian, a gay, an celebrity, or just a regular citizen, they all converged in one place.
We are all Filipinos and we have the right to voice out our sentiments to the Government. Through the Million People March, it just proves that we can all be one to have change. We don't need harm, we need a peaceful protest to make a good change.
